This square braided jute rug is handwoven in India by skilled artisan weavers. The material is 100% natural, undyed jute — one of the most sustainable plant fibres available.
Strips of natural jute are braided and stitched together to create a distinctive woven pattern. The result is a flat weave rug approximately 1cm thick, available in a square shape ideal for placement under a dining table, in a kitchen, or to define a seating area.
The rug is reversible and lies flat under furniture. It can be rolled for storage when not in use. To care for the rug, shake it outdoors to remove dust or spot clean with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
Jute is a natural plant fibre. No dyes or chemicals are used in production. The colour of each woven jute rug may vary slightly from the photographs shown, as every piece is unique.
